Hello I would like to request permission to use this photo of cutting turf.
I am making this request because I have a voice tape recorded by my grandfather in the 1970s in which he tells the story of his childhood on the north coast of Ireland in the 1890s.
I will be using the voice tape in a simple audio-visual piece, and I would like to include the photo to provide some historical context. This will be for non-commercial use only, though it will be on line. I would be happy to share it once it is finished.
My great grandfather is the man on the bottom left! His name was William Jennings. I love this photo and it’s amazing that this photo pops up everywhere on the internet!
